Pinot Noir is known as the most fickle red grape. The Willamette Valley's soil and weather conditions have made it world renown. Our St Josef’s is 100% Pinot Noir done in a classic Burgundian style. Our Pommard vines (the original Pinot Noir clone brought in from France) develop a wine with beautiful garnet color and overtones of cherry, blackberry, pepper and spice. It remains true to tradition by not being too fruit forward, flavors of tobacco & oak balance the wine. Grown from our five estate vineyards, aged in French, European and American Oak.
